Actors Take Flight in Dunbar Middle School's 'Seussical'

Lynchburg, VA - Kids at Dunbar Middle School in Lynchburg are taking the term flying high to a whole new level.

They're undergoing theatrical flying training from ZFX, the same acrobatics company that's used in training performers for the Olympic opening games, and the Broadway shows Wicked and Spiderman.

The company brought in a special instructor, who worked with the cast all week.

The actors are learning how to do back-flips while floating feet above the stage.

"It was very intimidating and I was like well maybe, like a foot off the ground possibly, and I'll just inch my way up every once in a while so I get the hang of it" said Max Gregory who plays The Cat in the Hat, in the school's production.

If you want to see these students take flight, Seussical runs April 26th through the 28th at Dunbar Middle School, tickets are $5.
