A Truck Driver is In Custody After Getting in a Fight on I-81
Roanoke County, VA - A truck driver from Wichita, Kansas is now in custody after getting in a fight with another truck driver on I-81 in Roanoke County.
State Police say 53-year-old Steven Campbell is being charged with attempted malicious wounding, possession of marijuana, and possession of a concealed weapon.
Police say both truck drivers were driving on I-81 when they started to exchange words on their CB Radios.
Both of the drivers pulled over and Campbell hit the other driver in the head with a wooden stick.
Police say a trooper was driving by when the incident happened.
He arrested Campbell without incident and he is being held at the Roanoke County Jail without bond.
The other driver was treated at the scene and did not want to go to the hospital.
