Lynchburg, VA - A piece of Lynchburg's past got fixed up, and Tuesday was the big reveal.
It's the Second Virginia Cavalry Monument in Miller Park. The group, Lynchburg Save Outdoor Sculpture! along with the Lynchburg Historical Foundation, helped make it like new again.
The monument first went up in 1913. But it needed work done for years, especially on the scabbard and the bronze plaque.
The next project is the Greek Water bearer in the old reservoir downtown.
