It was a rough summer in Virginia - from the drought to the derecho. But some help is on the way for businesses and organizations in 70 Virginia localities.
Thursday, the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced federal disaster loans of up to $2 million will be available in 70 localities.
The aid is available for businesses, small agricultural cooperatives and nonprofits.
Farmers are not eligible for this set of loans.
