16th-annual VT/UVa Song Parody Contest Tuesday Night

Lynchburg - Rich Roth is hosting his 16th-annual Song Parody Contest Tuesday night for Saturday's UVa-Tech game.

Fans show off their singing, songwriting and comedy skills trying to win tickets to the game. The Song Parody Contest runs from 5 'til 8 at Phase 2 in Lynchburg. Lynchburg's W-I-Q-O and the Military Order of the Purple Heart will also hold a silent auction raising money for Army Sergeant Peter Kareem Francis, a 29-year-old Heritage High grad who was shot multiple times and suffered spine damage in his first tour in Afghanistan.
